Commissioner Jean-Pierre L. Oriol of the Department of Planning and Natural Resources (DPNR) announces the upcoming registration period for all licensed commercial fishers in the Virgin Islands. The Division of Fish and Wildlife, in collaboration with the Division of Environmental Enforcement, will conduct in-person registration sessions on both island districts. Registration Schedule:
- St. Thomas–St. John District Monday, July 7 – Friday, July 11, 2025 DPNR Main Office, 2nd Floor Conference Room, VIYA Building (Tutu)
- St. Croix District Monday, July 14 – Friday, July 18, 2025 Division of Environmental Enforcement, Anna’s Hope
All commercial fishers are asked to bring the following documents to complete their registration:
- A completed and signed renewal form
- A current business license
- Any outstanding Commercial Catch Reports
