Startup Battle is back in the USVI for its second pitch competition! In partnership with Southern Equity, UVI Research & Technology Park, and the University of the Virgin Islands, the competition returns to St. Thomas to spotlight early-stage founders building in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
This year’s Startup Battle will award $100,000 in investments, including $80,000 for early-stage startups and $20,000 dedicated to student-led startups.
Key dates to know:
- Applications open: January 20
- Applications close: February 12 at 11:59 PM AST
- Semi-Finalist Pitch Day (virtual): March 5
- Live Competition: March 26
The event will take place at the UVI Elridge Blake Sports and Fitness Center and will feature finalists pitching live in front of investors, founders, and industry leaders. Founders with operations in the U.S. Virgin Islands are encouraged to apply for the 2026 competition.
